AvenAgro ("we", "us", "our") operates avenagro.kartexa.com, a platform for organic, chemical-free produce grown on our own farms and delivered directly to customers across India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you join our waitlist or use our services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is framed in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable IT Rules.

1. Information we collect

When you join the AvenAgro waitlist or otherwise interact with our site, we may collect:

• Contact details: full name, phone number and email address.
• Delivery information: your address, locality/city, and, if you choose to share it, your device's approximate or precise geolocation (used only to pre-fill your address field).
• Preferences: the produce categories you tell us you're interested in.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and general usage data collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Add you to the AvenAgro waitlist and notify you when we launch delivery in your area;
• Communicate updates, offers, and founding-member pricing details relevant to you;
• Understand demand across cities so we can plan our farm and delivery network;
• Prevent fraud, spam and abuse of our waitlist form; and
• Comply with applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Location & address data

Our waitlist form includes an optional "Use my location" button. If you tap it, your browser will ask for permission to share your device's location. If you allow it, we use a third-party reverse-geocoding service to convert your coordinates into a readable address, which is then pre-filled into the address field for you to review and edit. We do not access or store your location unless you explicitly grant permission, and you may always type your address manually instead.

4. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

• Service providers who help us operate our website, send communications, or process deliveries once live (bound by confidentiality obligations);
• Government or regulatory authorities where required by law; and
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring of AvenAgro, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

5. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including restricted server-side access, encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access-controlled admin systems — to protect your data from unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No online system is 100% secure, and we continuously work to strengthen our protections.

6. Data retention

We retain waitlist data for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described above, or until you request deletion, whichever is earlier. You may request removal from our waitlist at any time.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data from our waitlist; and
• Raise a grievance regarding how your data has been handled.

8. Cookies

Our site uses minimal, functional cookies/local storage strictly required for the site to work correctly (e.g. remembering that you closed a banner). We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers.

9. Children's privacy

AvenAgro's services are intended for users who are 18 years or older, or otherwise capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
